Richard Kempster is the Manager of Technical Operations in London, UK. In this role, Mr. Kempster acts as the technical lead for Envista's UK team. This includes all high-level operational responsibilities, as well as working with the global team of discipline trainers to provide continuous education and mentoring of new employees, and collaborating with Sales and Marketing to build and strengthen the Envista brand through key national and international clients.

I have worked for Envista for just over 8 years and I carry out fire origin and cause investigations.
Before you joined Envista, what were you doing?
Prior to joining Envista, I was studying for my bachelor’s degree in forensic science.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is being able to help someone who has suffered a traumatic and stressful event, to either their house or business, and to be involved in the process of getting them back to where they were before the event occurred.
What are the values that drive you?
I love the constant challenges that are presented, each matter we work on has its own unique characteristics that you might have not seen before, so it keeps you always learning new things. I also like being part of a wider team, there are many jobs that involve a multi-discipline approach and I get to work with others who have a completely different skill set and knowledge base to myself.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
When I am now working, I love both playing and watching sports, especially Rugby and Cricket, as well as going on trips on my motorcycle.
