Robert investigates and analyzes vehicle incidents to determine impact orientations and locations, impact speeds, pre-impact speeds and movements, driver potential to avoid, and seatbelt use and effectiveness. As part of his work in both collision reconstruction and premises liability cases, Mr. Townsley regularly analyzes video footage to determine vehicle speed and positioning, incident timing, human actions, and the 3D locations of objects visible in 2D frames.
