Constantinos Franceskides's academic career started at the University of Liverpool where he achieved his MEng in Mechanical Engineering. Not just an academic, as whilst there he actively supported the Motorsport Team, acting as the Engine and Electronics sub-system leader for the Formula Student Car in Formula Student Silverstone and Formula Student Red Bull Ring Austria. He then joined Cranfield University where he completed an MSc in Forensic Engineering and Science and studied for his PhD in Biomedical and Biomechanical engineering with the project aim of creating a working physical model that will better predict spinal failures under various loading conditions. His industrial experience is predominantly focused in the health, automotive, motorsport and aerospace industries. He has carried out component analysis and testing, rig design, build and commissioning studies as well as being engaged in change management and continuous improvement activities.
