Dr. Arash Hajjam is a Senior Principal Engineer within Envista’s Mechanical/Electrical group. With over 20 years of experience, Arash specializes in the areas of electrical engineering, failure analysis of sensors, transformer failures, elevator failures, HVAC failures, current sensors, origin and cause analysis, micro- and nano- electromechanical systems, circuit design, modeling and simulations. Arash provides forensic electrical engineering and fire investigation services, conducts extensive investigations and on-site examinations, and can provide opinions as to the cause and scope of damage, including repair estimates. He is experienced in equipment causation in investigations of single-family and multi-family residential buildings, manufacturing facilities, commercial and industrial spaces, and vehicles. Dr. Hajjam also has extensive experience working in laboratory environments; he has conducted evidence examinations using SEM, AFM, X-ray, and other destructive and non-destructive testing methods.
