Mr. Randy A. D’Arcy, JM, IAAI-CFI, is a Regional Technical Leader (Fire Division/Northeast) for Envista Forensics. Mr. D’Arcy leads a highly motived and dedicated team of fire investigators. Mr. D’Arcy completed 25 years in the public safety field before entering the private sector and has a total of more than 13 years of experience in conducting fire and explosion investigations throughout the United States and four (4) foreign countries. Mr. D’Arcy has conducted over 1,100 fire and explosion investigations and supervised 550 fire and explosion investigations. He holds a Juris Master in American Legal Studies from Liberty University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Leadership and Management from Michigan State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University and an Associates of Applied Science in both Fire Science and Emergency Medical Services from Tidewater Community College. Mr. D’Arcy’s experience includes large/complex losses including commercial losses, large gas explosion, residential losses, heavy equipment losses, vehicle losses, wildland losses, marine losses, large retail centers, multi residential complexes, warehouses, mixed use complexes, and multiple fatality incidents. Mr. D’Arcy has collaborated and partnered with local jurisdictions and State and Federal Agencies, to include ATF, FBI, DEA, FAA, NTSB, ICE, NCIS, US Air Force OSI, and Homeland Security. Mr. D’Arcy was assigned as the lead investigator for: a helicopter crash into an occupied townhome resulting in multiple fatalities, a warehouse fire that included a burglary, robbery from person, arson, and homicide, and an abroad warehouse fire resulting in over 45+ million dollars in property damages. Mr. D’Arcy has testified as an expert in fire and explosion investigations in state court. In addition, Mr. D’Arcy is a Certified Matterport Operator through Actionable Insights and a volunteer Firefighter for the Setauket Fire Department in Setauket, NY.
