A Professional Engineer and Certified Safety Professional with over 30+ years’ experience as a safety engineer. Since his retirement from Chrysler, he has been working with attorneys and insurance companies (through law firms) on accident cases. He specializes in industrial and construction accidents and has found the same accident investigation process and root cause analysis works well for a diverse number of accident scenarios. Since his retirement he has been retained for both defense and plaintiff cases maintaining an approximate 50/50 ratio over nearly 80 cases. This even split shows he is familiar with both sides of litigation. He been to trial three times, participated in arbitration proceedings twice and has been deposed over 15 times. John has worked as a safety Engineer for General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler, as a plant and corporate safety engineer. He was the corporate Safety Director for the automotive arm of Aeroquip. In that capacity I was responsible for safety at 14 plants in seven states. He has a PE (Professional Engineer) license from Massachusetts with a safety discipline, is a CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and is also a retired United States Air Force pilot.
