Before you joined Envista, what were you doing?
Before working at Envista, I managed the Lane Cove Testing Station (LCTS) for PLUS ES, which was a business of Ausgrid, Sydney’s electricity network provider. LCTS provided electrical testing and certification services.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Interacting with our clients and receiving feedback that we helped get it right is very rewarding. In other words, being told I was useful. I am new to the expert industry and enjoy learning about it from my colleagues and the stories they recount.
What are the values that drive you?
Be useful, add value, and do it on time.
What do you love most about what you do?
I love the adventure of site inspections.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
When I'm not working, I am playing keyboards in an obnoxious band, automating my home, and racing cars in a virtual reality simulation.
What is your favourite country you have ever visited?
Well, I have to say America, which I have visited twice – the first time was on West Coast and the second time was on East Coast. Most recently I enjoyed South Korea (Seoul and Busan) during the summer.
What’s a fun fact about you that many people may not know?
I was one of the volunteer experts for the Australian TV show, “New Inventors” on ABC. I had to assess the merit of inventions submitted to the show.
