Grant joined Envista in 2012 as a part of the Expert Alliance. In 2017, Grant was hired on full-time operations at Envista and is currently involved with investigating origin and cause of fires, explosions, electrical, and mechanical breakdown events.
How long have you worked for Envista and what do you do?
I joined the Expert Alliance in 2012, where I worked on matters throughout Southeast Asia, New Zealand, and Australia until 2016. In 2017, I commenced full-time operations in Sydney with a greater focus on operations in Australia but still active throughout all of Australasia. I am mostly involved with investigating origin and cause of fires, explosions, electrical, and mechanical breakdown events.
Before you joined Envista, what were you doing?
Before I joined Envista, I was involved in various engineering-based roles, including restoration of fire, flood, and physically damaged plant and equipment throughout Southeast Asia and the USA, developing 3D display technology, roles involved with hydraulic torque wrench tooling, and automation and control systems at an appliance manufacturing organization.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
The wide range of work and work locations, and assisting organizations to return to business quickly and economically are the most rewarding parts of my job.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
When I'm not working, you can find me surfing, sailing SCUBA, kayaking, and traveling.
