Anthony Gentile is a Digital Forensic Analyst specialized in cellular location analysis. Anthony is a Cellebrite Certified Operator (CCO), a graduate of the PenLink Advanced Analysis Course, and courtroom qualified expert in Cell Site Analysis and Call Detail Record Analysis. Fun Fact: When I was a child I wanted to be a paratrooper in the Army. I accomplished that goal! Now, my favorite part of being a Digital Forensic Analyst is the application of my training and experience testifying in the courtroom.

Eliah Kim, PE

Senior Project Engineer, Civil/Structural (Dallas, TX)

Eliah Kim is a Senior Project Engineer with over 12 years of experience in structural and forensic engineering. Eliah was involved in the design of numerous building types including residential, commercial, medical, and educational buildings. He is knowledgeable in the current and past building codes nationwide, encompassing all aspects of structural design such as lateral (seismic and wind) and gravity loads, diaphragm, shear walls, frames, and foundation as well as most common building materials, including concrete, wood, steel, light gage metal, and masonry. During his career as a forensic engineer, Eliah has inspected hundreds of residential, commercial, and public buildings and other structures and produced reports, assisting clients in determining the cause of loss and extent of relevant damage as well as providing repair recommendations for damaged structures.

Fun Fact: One of the most interesting cases I've worked on was a claim for a historic theater building that had roof drainage issues that had caused deterioration in the wood roof framing over decades and needed repair. I had to climb up a 50-foot-high scaffolding to inspect the framing of a tall roof and also look into an old leaning masonry wall. While there were scary moments, it was a very interesting project.

John Rabenberg, PE

Senior Project Engineer, Civil/Structural (Houston, TX)

John Rabenberg is a Senior Project Engineer with over 26 years of technical design and forensics experience, including 10 years of construction experience. John has been in charge of managing the structural design of complex multidisciplinary international and domestic projects, design-build, design-bid-build, and forensic engineering. He specializes in structural analysis and design, building envelope assessment, building collapse analysis, municipal infrastructure evaluations, and foundation design.

Fun Fact: I spent ten months living in an RV near Lake Charles after Hurricane Laura and another six months doing the same in New Orleans after Hurricane Ida.

Matthew Pawlowski

Senior Building Consultant, Building Consulting (Minneapolis, MN)

Matthew Pawlowski is a Senior Building Consultant with over 20 years of experience assessing interior and exterior building envelope systems and their damage to both residential and commercial properties. Matthew is skilled in remodels and restoration, recommending the proper repair or mitigation for these systems. He has also completed thousands of building inspections involving damage due to fire, sewer backups, and serious weather-related events, like flooding, hurricanes, hail and windstorms.

Fun Fact: I recall one of the most interesting cases I've worked on was on a large fire in southwest Minnesota. The fire investigator was on site with me and during his investigation and we could clearly see pour marks as the cause of the fire.

Matthew Pritzl, PE

Senior Project Engineer, Civil/Structural (Milwaukee, WI)

Matthew Pritzl, Senior Project Engineer, is a registered Professional Engineer with over 15 years of experience. Over the years, he has gained knowledge and expertise in structural engineering, construction management, structural forensics, building science, and materials testing. Matthew has managed roadway and bridge overlay construction projects, has performed façade and parking garage inspections, and has managed over 2,000 forensic evaluations of residential, commercial, agricultural, and academic structures. He has also been an expert witness in eight depositions and four trials. Matthew holds a LEED Green Associate credential, Bachelor of Science degrees in Architectural Studies and Civil Engineering, and a Master of Science in Engineering (Structures).

Fun Fact: When I was younger, I wanted to be an architect. I got the degree for it but decided it wasn't for me.

Roy Marestein

Senior Building Consultant, Building Consulting (Dallas, TX)

Roy Marestein is a Senior Building Consultant with over 15 years of construction experience in commercial, and residential buildings. He is knowledgeable in many phases of construction/reconstruction, water mitigation, and restoration of commercial and residential buildings including multi-family units. His experience includes working as a CAT adjuster in the field and desk, handling small to large loss complex claims for fire, ice, wind/hail, hurricanes and other catastrophic events. His responsibilities have included field adjusting, desk adjusting, estimating, supplements, and file review. At Envista, Roy utilizes his experience investigating losses for commercial/residential, multi-family, farm/ranch, warehouse, and industrial.

Fun Fact: When I was a child, I wanted to be a baseball player.

Steven McCoy

Senior Building Consultant, Building Consulting (Dallas, TX)

Steven McCoy is a Senior Building Consultant with over 35 years of experience in the construction and insurance restoration industry. He has handled both the estimate preparation and project management fields of the reconstruction process in the residential and commercial sectors, as well as public schools. Steven has worked closely with insurance professionals assisting with the claims process as well as engineers and architects to ensure that all projects receive the attention required to begin the restoration process as quickly as possible.

Fun Fact: My favorite part about being an engineer is looking for the details of how something is put together and then recreating it in my mind so I can prepare the estimate.
