LWG supports IRC through Corporate Customer Service Initiative

October 17, 2014

Since January 2014, LWG has proudly supported the International Rescue Committee (IRC) through the development of a corporate customer service initiative. Developed in efforts to give back to individuals who may be suffering as a result of untimely disasters, political disturbances and other unforeseen circumstances, LWG launched this program at the beginning of the year. As part of our initiative, for every customer quality survey that is returned to LWG customer service, we donate $5 to the IRC. Combined this year, we have donated approximately $3,000 towards the invaluable programs and services offered by the IRC.

Founded in 1933 by Albert Einstein, the IRC has been providing services to victims suffering from civil oppression for over seven decades. Today, the IRC provides vital and life-saving services to individuals throughout the world. In 2013, 1.4 million people were given access to clean drinking water and sanitation through programs funded by the IRC. Over 725,000 children and 20,000 educators were provided schooling and educational opportunities through IRC sponsored programs, and thousands of refugees have been given resettlement opportunities in the United States to build new lives with assistance from IRC and affiliated resettlement programs.

For information on the outstanding programs provided by the IRC, please visit their website and/or like them on Facebook.

LWG looks forward to continued support of the IRC. With questions or comments regarding LWG's support of the IRC, please contact Jennifer Gaster at +1 224 406-9809
