Envista Forensics expands London office, Energy Practice Group, with addition of Alan Chung

London, UK - Envista Forensics is pleased to announce the expansion of their London-area office with the addition of Alan Chung who joins as our Forensic Engineer (Mechanical). Alan comes to Envista with a broad background which has included forensic engineering and defect assessment in a wide range of industries including power generation, oil and gas, and transportation.

Over his career, Mr. Chung has investigated failures ranging from large gas turbines to steam generation equipment and fixed pressurized equipment. Most recently Alan was the Chief Discipline Engineer (Facilities Integrity) at Penspen. He also spent seven years as a Forensic Accident Investigator with Forensic Science Service, where he provided expert witness testimony for criminal investigations involving traffic accidents.

Alan earned his Bachelors of Engineering in Engineering Design and Manufacture from The University of Hull and his Masters in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine. He is a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng) and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE).

With the addition of Alan to the team, Envista adds to its position as a market leader for providing forensic engineering and consulting services to the energy industry’s leading stakeholders and insurers.  In London, Alan joins Daniel Correa CEng, MIMechE, MIET, Senior Forensic Engineer. Daniel has over a decade of experience providing forensic evaluations following complex mechanical system failures. Globally, Alan is part of a highly skilled Energy Practice Group, headed by Michael Pagano, PE, CEM, CEP.
