This expert has over thirty years of experience in software development, data recovery, computer and server diagnosis and repair, and network administration. Larry began performing computer forensics in 2001 and has accumulated over 15,000 hours of experience working in the field of digital forensics. He received his 16 hours of initial training in call detail record and cellular analysis in October of 2010. In the last 5 years, he has received 140 additional hours of training in cellular networks and wireless technology from the Teracom Training Institute as well as three certifications because of that training: Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS), Certified Telecommunications Analyst (CTA) and Certified Wireless Analysis (CWA).

He is co-author of the book, “Digital Forensics for Legal Professionals, ” 2011, Syngress, the sole author of the upcoming book, “Cell Phone Location Evidence for Legal Professionals, ” 2017, Academic Press, has published articles in NC Jury View and DFI News magazines, has written commercial software applications in Visual Basic, Dbase III, Clipper, PL1, Crosstalk, PC Focus, Magic, and Visual Basic for Applications, Microsoft Access, KMan/3, Revelation, R-Base and ASP.Net, served as the primary software developer as a consultant to the NC Institute for Transportation Research and Education for 5 years and still performs contract work for that agency on various projects.
