Questions

How did you get into the forensic consulting industry?

During my MSc in Engineering Project Management back in 2008, I was approached by a forensics group in London. At that time, I was not familiar with forensic engineering but was intrigued by the opportunity given my previous Oil & Gas and Construction experience, as well as my interests in a position where I could provide value to clients as an expert conducting fact-based investigations.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Honestly, helping businesses and large companies get back on their feet after a major loss or catastrophe, added with the continuous learning/development gained throughout the process of a forensic engineering investigation, as well as public speaking opportunities.

What’s one of the most interesting projects you’ve been involved with as an employee at PT&C|LWG ?

A Root Cause Analysis following a 350MW steam turbine fire in Egypt, which involved not only an interesting site investigation, but also required laboratory examinations and meetings in Germany, Switzerland and the UK.

What is your favorite thing about working at Envista Forensics?

The variety of projects and the different challenges posed upon me every day. Not one project is similar to the next.
